A monthly gathering for pregnant and postpartum folks on Bainbridge Island. We are an intentional, confidential, judgment-free, advice-free peer support circle and community for birthing folks to be witnessed, held & celebrated.

This is a covid safe event - At the Wellness Studio, we follow all current guidelines for Covid-19 safety as per Kitsap County Public Health. The studio space is completely separate from the shop below. We can open windows, and have a HEPA certified air purifier in the office space.

Birth Doula Sophia Tschida CD(DONA) she/her

Sophia is an experienced birth and full spectrum doula, placenta encapsulator and lactation student. She supports birthing folks and their families transition through all pregnancy outcomes from Tacoma to Port Townsend. She has experience supporting all types of births in hospitals, community birth centers, and in her clients homes. She is a trained circle facilitator through Perinatal Support Washington and Group Peer Support. Sophia is passionate about meeting people where they’re at, building resilient communities and relationships, reproductive justice, and intersectionality in birth work and beyond. She has experienced first hand the deep healing, growth, and empowerment that is cultivated and nurtured within the container of an intentional community, and is honored to have the opportunity to facilitate that space for others. ANNA JOY GOTTLIEB, LICSW SHE/HER

Anna is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in child, adolescent and family mental wellness who has worked with youth, parents, and other caregivers for over a decade across a variety of settings including schools, community mental health, inpatient care, and telehealth. She is also a new mother and peer support volunteer with the Perinatal Support Washington Warm Line, supporting new parents through the transition to parenthood. Anna is passionate about cultivating emotional wellness through strong, supportive relationships and communities, holding space for and honoring all experiences and identities, and working toward a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. She first joined Luna Circle as a participant and is thrilled to be able to help co-create this powerfully affirming space for new parents to witness and connect with one another.
